Description
Electric superheaters manufactured by DENKAR LLC are designed to produce superheated (high-temperature) steam with a temperature up to 250 °C, by increasing the temperature of steam received from the steam generator above the saturation temperature in order to increase the efficiency of the main steam installation.
Superheated steam has a number of advantages in comparison with saturated steam: it has a significantly higher temperature and has a larger specific volume compared to saturated steam, i.e. the volume of 1 kg of superheated steam at the same pressure is greater than the volume of 1 kg of saturated steam. Superheated steam by weight is required less, which gives savings in water consumption. Superheated steam does not condense during cooling, condensation occurs only when the temperature of superheated steam drops to the temperature of saturated steam at a given pressure, this makes it possible to avoid the formation of a steam-water low-potential mixture in the steam pipeline, and therefore steam transportation will be with less heat loss.
The DENKAR company produces superheaters with a capacity from 15 to 250 kg of steam/hour as a standard model range, and over 250 kg of steam/hour on an individual order.
